Duality Stone is in the last chest of Ravaged Tomb. The walk starts at Widow’s Overlook and can be done from the first open-world hour. This page is that chest. It is not the first-hour stone list.

Duality is spoken as a dual-wield stone. It fits Axatana and Axe and Dagger. Rank it at Franz after the Etching Needles like any other Tarstone.

Route from Widow’s Overlook

1. Leave Widow’s Overlook downhill. The Great Arbiter of Flesh can be fought or skipped. A body on that path holds an extra heal.
2. Cross the jump-gates over the chasm. Take the winding road into the ruins and the encampment. A chest on the right is gold, not Duality.
3. After the next leap, stop for exploding enemies. Open the shortcut if you want a way back, then keep climbing.
4. Light the roadside beacon if you want a rest. Skip the optional boss in that yard.
5. Turn left and jump down into the dungeon lift. The floor is Ravaged Tomb.
6. Clear to the inner door. Knock the puzzle pillar onto the pad so the door opens.
7. The chest at the far end is Duality Stone.

You can run past most yard enemies. Fight only if you are also farming Gloom.

What to do with it

Socket Duality on a dual-wield moveset. The documented pitch is stronger light attacks, faster Resolve return, and better on-hit or elemental ticks. That is a reason to pick the stone up, not a rank of every Tarstone.

If you are still on a single-handed starter, leave Duality in the bag and finish the early weapon page first.

Common mistakes

• Opening the gold chest in the encampment and leaving. Duality is the tomb chest.
• Fighting the roadside boss because the beacon is there. The tomb jump is left of that yard.
• Forcing Duality onto a weapon that is not dual-wield. The stone lists its weapons.
• Ranking it here against 75 other stones. Use the first-hour list for village pickups.
