Mortal Shell 2 Endings: The Baghead Nothing Offering
The documented early path is Baghead. Sit when he tells you to sit. Bring nothing. Other endings are not listed until they are verified.
Is there more than one ending?
Current for the launch version.
The only path written here is Baghead, and the accepted offering is nothing. On-screen he is named Baghead. This is not a full ending list, and it is not New Game Plus.
Gorf, Egon, and Vlas stay on NPC quests. They do not replace this offering.
What Baghead asks for
- Find Baghead on his plateau. He treats you as another follower.
- He asks you to drop an offering in the pile. He also says some people say nothing is the best gift.
- When he tells you to sit and leave him alone, sit.
- Come back. He asks if you want a bag and to be like him.
- He then asks for something special that is rarely enjoyed.
- A strong-smelling item is rejected.
- Return with nothing. That is the accepted answer.
The documented pass is empty hands after you have sat. Do not add a required drink or weapon to this step.
What this page does not cover
- Other ending names
- New Game Plus
- A final-boss kill as a substitute for this offering
- A ranked list of endings
If you came here from a full-walkthrough search, stop. The opening route is still where to go first.
Common mistakes
- Handing him a rare item. The rejected offering was something that smelled strong.
- Skipping the sit. He tells you to sit before the bag question.
- Calling this the only ending. It is the only one written from current captions.
Endings FAQ
Is this required to finish the game?
No. It is an early optional path. Main progress still goes through Shells, weapons, and beacons.
Does Baghead belong on the NPC hub?
Yes, as a pointer. The offering steps stay on this page so the hub does not turn into an ending guide.
Will more endings be added later?
Only after a captioned source names them. This page will not guess.
