Where are the Shells in Mortal Shell 2?

Seven named Shells have documented pickups. Proxima and Tiel are the first-hour pair. Eredrim, Gragu, and Smert sit on mid routes. Sariel and Lazlo are late and boss-locked. The eighth playable Shell is not named here.

The first-pick question — prologue Harros versus the shortest open-world pickup — belongs on the first Shell guide. This page only answers where do you go to collect them.

How to reach Proxima

Start from Marrowkeep, then travel to the Widow’s Overlook beacon. That overlook is the shared landmark for both early pickups.

From there:

1. Take the left ramp and cross the bridge.
2. Enter Black Ridge Pass and cleanse the beacon.
3. Continue uphill into the Shattered Beacon.
4. Interact with Proxima to claim the Shell.

This is a collection route, not a claim that Proxima is stronger. Use it when you want a Shell before taking extra fights.

How to reach Tiel

Tiel uses the same Widow’s Overlook start, then a different path past the dungeon and wooden structures. You do not have to clear the nearby boss or the ordinary enemies before interacting with the Shell.

Take this route when you want the nearby dodge-focused Shell instead of the shortest pickup. Tiel’s own page covers the last-moment dodge and Shadow response; this page only marks the path.

What this list does not do

The later five have their own pages. This table only points at the landmark. It does not rank them.

It also does not name the eighth playable Shell. Official store copy confirms eight. The achievement list names seven unlocks. Guessing the leftover name is how bad location pages get written.

If you only need a first-hour choice, stop after Proxima or Tiel and return to the opening route. Searching the later five before you have a hub and a working defense costs more than it returns.

Is Harros a collectible Shell later?

Harros is the prologue Shell. After Marrowkeep you are back in the base body, so the first open-world collectibles are Proxima and Tiel.
