Who is Eredrim?

Eredrim the Venerable is the aggressive Shell: a Shoulder Bash that lunges for break, and Ethereal Diapason, a blinding break AoE. You do not get this body on the Widow’s Overlook first-hour loop. The documented pickup sits behind Gloomshade Grove and a citadel.
This page is Eredrim only. The kit list for every named Shell is on Shell abilities. Proxima and Tiel stay the opening pickups.

Eredrim is a stagger body, not a dodge body. If you still need a last-moment evade, stay on Tiel until this route is actually open.

How to reach Eredrim
- Unlock the ability to remove corruption, then cleanse enough of it to enter Gloomshade Grove.
- From that grove beacon, drop to the lower path (a light attack can turn a fall into a slam and skip fall damage).
- Kill the boss on that path. The drop is a citadel lever.
- Take the lever to the citadel gate.
- Drop in through a back entrance. The middle of that space starts a boss fight.
- Beat that boss. Eredrim is locked in the citadel until that fight is done.
Boss names on this route are not listed. The lever and the citadel fight are the locks that matter.
This is more work than Proxima. Do not treat Eredrim as a first-hour pickup.
When to take Eredrim
Take this Shell when you already have a hub, a Seal, and a reason to slam. Skip it while you are still learning Untarnished at Widow’s Overlook.
A later ranking that puts Eredrim high is still a later opinion. This page only records the kit and the grove-to-citadel path.
Common mistakes
- Looking for Eredrim next to Tiel. Different region. Different lock.
- Entering the grove before you can cleanse corruption. The path stays blocked.
- Skipping the lever boss. The citadel gate wants that item.
- Playing Eredrim like Tiel. The answer is a slam and an AoE, not a last-moment dodge.
